I remember going to this store many times when I was a kid. I remember being in there one Sunday, and several aisles were closed off because of the often-ridiculous Sunday Blue Laws. You couldn’t even buy birthday candles on Sunday. It was definitely a nice store
This was back when Americans looked normal and healthy, dressed and acted modestly and stores knew what they were doing because they weren’t run by corporations.

I found one of the diners here in a movie film! We shopped there too. Loved it too!
