City Councilman Martin Thomas, Jr. made the announcement last night at the Wards Corner Civic League meeting that Tidewater Physical Therapy will open a location this fall in the Midtown Shopping Center.
Tidewater Physical Therapy will occupy approximately 2000sq ft in Unit 154 between Cora’s Beauty Connection and Jackson Hewitt in the northeast corner of Wards Corner.
This announcement comes on the heels of Sentara’s recent announcement to expand their footprint at Wards Corner and McDonald Garden Center opening their seasonal market at Wards Corner.
Stay tuned for more retail announcements as Martin Thomas Jr. and Norfolk’s Economic Development Department continue to work on attracting new life and activity to Wards Corner!
Please can we get a Five Below and Dunkins at Wards Corner??? And maybe just ONE mattress store?
Thank you for the recommendations! I will pass them along to the property owners.
The two Mattress Firms will likely consolidate into the location at the corner when the lease ends in the K&K Shopping Center. If I remember correctly, there are about two years left on that lease.
Chipotle, Trader Joe’s, and Chik-fil-A would be great. Don’t really need three mattress stores.
How about a Home Goods or TJ Maxx?
