Norfolk Constitutional Officer Candidate Forum

Kevin Janney, president of the Suburban Acres Civic League, asks that we share an invitation to their Candidate Forum:

Suburban Acres Civic League is hosting a Norfolk Constitutional Officer Candidate Forum on Monday evening October 14th at Suburban Park Elementary School, 310 Thole Street.  Doors open at 6 pm for refreshments; meeting/candidate forum starts at 6:30.

Confirmed candidates:

Commissioner of Revenue candidates:  Evans Poston and Sherry Battle-Edmonds

Treasurer candidates:  Vice Mayor Anthony Burfoot and James McDonnell

Sheriff candidates:  Sheriff Robert McCabe, Sean Jones, Neil Bradley

Format:

This is not a debate; candidates will not address each other directly.  Each candidate will have up to five minutes for remarks, then another 5 minutes to entertain questions from the audience.
