“Wards Corner envy”

The below Letter to the Editor was printed in the February 19, 2015 Virginian-Pilot.  Let’s continue to work to make Wards Corner a model of revitalization for the City!

Wards Corner envy
Is it possible for the Norfolk City Council to take over the corner of Fisherman’s Road and Chesapeake Boulevard to make a nice shopping area, as was done at Ward’s Corner?There could be a coffee shop, Wendy’s, a nice grocery store, hair and nails salon, etc. It would make life more pleasant and convenient for residents.
