Crime reports continue in 300 blocks of Little Creek, San Antonio, and Fort Worth

December 2011 brought an increase in the number of reported crimes in the 300 block of E. Little Creek Road, San Antonio Blvd and Fort Worth Ave from 15 in November to 17 in December.  These three blocks continue to exert downward pressure on surrounding communities.

It is NOT just those blocks, and I am tired of hearing that and trying to convince myself it is true. And to be quite honest and very un-PC, I think those folks are just trading items back and forth–users stealing from dealers stealing from users who stole from someone else-cry me a river. Yes, there are some exceptions and good people here and there, blah blah blah.
I live way down by the park and have called 911 on events there more times than I can count-finally got broken into on 14 Dec, broad daylight-guy going door to door with a rake, and kicking in the back doors of people who didn’t answer. I have defended this area over the years(since 2004) to all my friends and co-workers as being nice, issues mainly contained to the areas mentioned above…no more. There are ripples of evil emanating from there, and the whole room smells it when one person steps in dog crap. Get out-I will follow the exodus as soon as i can.

Taskforce meets next Thursday in Norfolk Fitness and Wellness Center. If more of our neighbors would show up,state the facts, the Council representing us will feel pressured to combat this criminal behavior. This is the moment and time for action.

Joe is correct when he states that crime is not only in those blocks! I live Adjcaent to Temple Israel on Granby St.and my car (Toyota Corolla Sport) was Vandalised on January 2nd…I still can’t believe that someone would actually steal a side view mirror out of it’s casing. My car wasn’t hit…broken into or anything like that…they just stole my driver’s side…side view mirror!!!
