Leanne Perry owner of the Pearle Vision Center in the Midtown Shopping Center wrote Friday, December 26th, 2008:
I just thought I’d share with you that Pearle Vision was burglarized
this morning at approx. 7:40am. Luckily nothing was stolen. The person
broke in upstairs through on old window and when he tried to come
downstairs the alarm sounded and scared him off. We were grateful for
that. The police took a report and forensics got a few prints so
hopefully this person will be caught! Just wanted to pass this along.Leanne Perry, A.B.O.C.

Leanne I am always sorry to hear of yet another burglary attempt happening at our Wards Corner Busness district, I am glad to hear they did not get away with anything. Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. Please keep us advised as to whether or not the NPD is able to make an arrest in this case.
I hope your 2009 New Year will be off to a much better start.
