A sincere and heartfelt “Thank You!” goes out to the Chrysler Corporation, KaBOOM!, the City of Norfolk, and most certainly those citizens who helped construct the park in Denby Park yesterday.

Thank you to all the persons responsible for obtaining the KaBoom grant, delivering the equipment, amassing the many many volunteers and producing the music, face painting and food fest! What a wonderful sight to watch Navy volunteers, civic organizations (some from other cities) , neighbors , City workers and Chrysler employees all working together to construct this colorful, inviting, interesting playground with plants, trees, and loads of mulch for our Denby Park residents. It is so gratifying to know that there are folk willing to lend a hand to help a neighborhood in such a worthwhile project for our kids! Thank you !!
I would like to join Joan in expressing a Thank You to all of the volunteers on the KaBoom playground project! I have been driving by the playground and it is full of children WITH parents in tow. Let’s all keep a watchful eye on the area and make sure it stays a fun, clean space for all who visit there. Thank you to all involved!
