The Greater Wards Corner Partnership overwhelmingly rejects the development of a CVS Pharmacy

Tuesday night, the Greater Wards Corner Partnership rejected the pursuit of CVS Pharmacy to developĀ a site presently occupied by the BP Gas Station and part of the Midtown Shopping Center parking lot on the Northeast corner of Granby Street and Little Creek Road. The CVS development would be grossly contradictory to what the consultants planned for the Northeast Corner in the Greater Wards Corner Comprehensive Plan.

  1. Jim English says:

There is absolutely no way that city council should allow this to happen to the Wards Corner Business District. We don’t need another Pharmacy!! This would be a travesty and would set the intent of the Comprehensive Plan back 50+ years. Just say NO to drugs!!

  2. Laura Thom says:

Another pharmacy at Wards Corner? You have GOT to be kidding! We residents and businesses of Wards Corner simply will not stand for this. Period.

  3. Lawrence Keefe says:

I would have thought that two pharmacies in the Wards Corner area would be sufficent in meeting the pharmaceutial needs of the residents of Wards Corner. Not to mention the Pharmacy in Farm Fresh.

  4. Dawn says:

We don’t need another pharmacy. We already have so many in the area.
